Our Materials

The Right Tool for the Job. Every Time.

You don't need to be a polymer scientist. That's our job.

Unlike hobbyist shops that offer 50 confusing options, we have standardized on a core library of industrial-grade, engineering-focused materials. We don't ask you to pick from a menu; we consult with you, understand your application, and recommend the one material that has the perfect balance of strength, temperature resistance, and durability.

Every part we produce is "Industrial Grade" by default.

Our Core Materials Library

We select the material based on your need. Here are our most common "go-to" solutions.

Engineering & Composite Materials (Our "Metal Replacers")

These are our high-performance solutions for jigs, fixtures, and functional end-use parts.

  • Nylon-CF (Carbon Fiber)
    • What it is: Our primary "metal replacement." By infusing nylon with chopped carbon fibers, we get a part that is incredibly stiff, strong, and has excellent thermal resistance.
    • Best For: Jigs, fixtures, EOAT, and any part that demands maximum stiffness and strength.
  • ASA (Acrylonitrile Styrene Acrylate)
    • What it is: A superior, industrial-strength version of ABS. Its key feature is extreme UV and weather resistance, making it perfect for parts used outdoors or in harsh environments.
    • Best For: Outdoor enclosures, automotive parts, and anything exposed to the sun and elements.

Standard & Workhorse Materials

These are our reliable, all-around materials for general-purpose applications.

  • PETG (Polyethylene Terephthalate Glycol)
    • What it is: Our "workhorse" material. It has excellent chemical resistance, good strength, and is easier to print than many engineering-grade plastics.
    • Best For: Prototypes, "paint-ready" film props, general-purpose jigs, and liquid-contact parts.

Have a Specific Need?

This is just a small sample. We also stock materials for high-temperature, flexible, or specific chemical-contact needs.

The best way to know what's right is to start a conversation. Our $495 Rapid Feasibility Audit includes a full material analysis and recommendation, complete with a physical prototype in the exact material we propose.
